If you're looking for a computer desk at a good price, I have two alternatives for you.

First, check Craigslist. You might find someone in your area who wants to give one away.

My second is the one I prefer. Check the local thrift stores. Don't underestimate these stores. Many have quality merchandise. Some items here are very unique, and can't be found anywhere else. I shop at thrift stores all the time. It's not a matter of economics for me. I just like some of the merchandise I see. You'd be very surprised at what you may find there.
